This was written by apostle Paul while he was imprisoned, to the people of Philippi.
Here he tells them don't be anxious, don't worry, tell the Lord what you need and stay in prayer, and God will make a way. This is such an encouraging scripture, if we put all of our trust in the Lord, he WILL guide us and be there for us all.
This scripture reminds me a lot of a realization I had recently and wrote a separate blog post about that I will attach below. If our faith and trust is in the Lord, worry is just disrespect to him. He has a way, and it will be done!
'We need to fully Believe in the Lord that he will provide and lead us through everything in life. The Lord has a plan for everyone and everything, and my plans are just my own not his. So, my idea of failing or “this went wrong” might not always match his. My own worry about something, shows my own disregard and disrespect that his plan isn’t THE and only plan, which it is. If he wants something to go a certain way it will happen, and if he doesn't it won't.'
I continue to pray for the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, my faith and trust is with him and therefore I shall not worry.
