A Beautiful Realization - Blog Post

I had such an eye opening God moment/realization today while working out at the gym.

I used to worry about almost everything, all of the time. Thoughts of "what if this goes wrong" or "What if this fails?" or "What if something bad happens or I don't have enough money?" etc.

Oh boy, how disrespectful was I?

The Lord has a plan for everyone and everything, and my plans are just my own not his. So my idea of failing or “wrong” might not always match his. My own worry about something failing, shows my own disregard and disrespect that his plan isn’t THE and only plan, which it is. If he wants something to go a certain way it will happen, and if he doesn't it won't. Yes we can fail, but that does NOT mean we are failures. Everything will happen as he wants it to.

Things are going to happen, time is going to pass, and opportunities will be given and taken away.

We need to fully Believe in the Lord that he will provide and lead us through everything in life. How am I just now realizing that the concept and life that's full of constant worry is just disrespectful to the Lord and doubting him.

Why worry about anything ever, if we truly believe and surrender in the lord that he will make the way and provide.

I am done with doubt disguised as worry! I am surrendered to the lord and faithful in his plan!

Here are some scriptures that really helped me through this realization and allowed to fully surrender and hand over my worries to the Lord:

”Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.“

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

”What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.“

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭8-12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless. What do people gain from all their labors at which they toil under the sun?Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.‬‬ The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises. The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on its course. All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again. All things are wearisome, more than one can say. The eye never has enough of seeing, nor the ear its fill of hearing. What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which one can say, “Look! This is something new”? It was here already, long ago; it was here before our time.“

‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭1‬:‭2-‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬
