5 This is how the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They put their trust in God and accepted the authority of their husbands. 6 For instance, Sarah obeyed her husband, Abraham, and called him her master. You are her daughters when you do what is right without fear of what your husbands might do.

Ladies, this verse is so important and meaningful for us to take in. One I would have made my younger self understand more if I could do it all over again.
This year I have come to a realization about myself and my outward presentation. As a child and growing up through all those different phases in high school and college, my mindset wasn't focused on loving myself for how the Father made me but instead, on following trends, the acceptance of others, and doing the "norm".
From, painting on layers of makeup, covering my natural hair with black hair dye, wearing clothes far to revealing and not age appropriate, to speaking with an unkind and unfiltered mouth: I was far to "worldly" and not paying attention to 'how' and 'who' I should be, as well as who I represent.
I now see who I was made to be. The little version of me who I was before all the worldliness and small yes's here and there with the devil happened, before choosing the path of what was 'cool' instead of the path of God.
And now I am on this journey of revealing that inner beauty instead; going back to my natural hair color, wiping off the outrageous makeup, clothing my body modestly, speaking kindly and of the word of God, and becoming a gentle and quiet spirit, allowing my godly life to speak to others without any words.
I now reveal that beaty from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, because I AM PRECIOUS TO GOD, and I am so thankful for that.
