Daily Bible Verse - Daniel 3:18

And if not, HE IS STILL GOOD!

This Scripture has been laid on my heart the past few days and something I have heard mentioned by a few people recently. I have felt the need to re-establish what this means to me and elaborate.

How many times have you prayed for something, and your prayers weren't answered exactly how you wanted them to? Was your immediate reaction to be upset, to be disappointed, to think God wasnt paying attention?

When was the last time your prayers weren't answered exactly how you wanted them to and instead you praised him anyway? Or thought, Lord this is your plan not mine, you make ways where there are none and put us in places, we are supposed to be in. Praying just as strong and faithful but adding "Lord and if not, YOU ARE STILL GOOD!"

He has an outline for each and every one of us, he knows what we will go through before we are even born, and he knows the choices we will make. It is our duty to actively try to lead a life more like him, for him. Praising and thanking him not just when things go your way or when your prayers are answered, but all the time.

Incorporating this and recognizing this in my daily prayers truly makes me feel better and able to just have that deep breath and release moment and, get in that secret place with him, laying everything at his feet and trusting!

"Father, this is okay, I am okay, and everything WILL be okay. Lord, you know what to do and you will take care of me, my faith and my trust is in you Lord Jesus. I pray for your will to be fruitful and not my own. Lord in my times of uncertainty and wavering I just praise you and thank you Lord, For your graciousness and your love for me. I pray to you in thanks, for all that you do and provide for me, and I pray to you in guidance, Lord give me the strength and perseverance to live and lead a life more like you Jesus. Lord when my season is full of clear and shining days, abundance and warmth, I praise you, for I know this is from you alone. Lord when my season becomes clouded, when I feel as though I'm falling and losing my grasp, I am filled with overwhelming faith and understanding. For I know you are with me Lord, I know you and your Goodness Jesus and for that I am so grateful that you walk with me still. I praise you for the consolation in your presence and unwavering love for me when I'm undeserving. No matter if my prayers are answered at this moment or if you tell me to wait, Lord you remain, and I praise you so deeply from the wells of my heart and pouring out. In your heavenly name, Amen"
